A Kepler Update

It has been a busy time!

With managing the Charity Challenge entrants, distribution of grants from these entries and the race-day entries on the 1st of July, Our race secretary is doing her best to get through everything.

We thought it would be good to give you all a bit of an update on where we are at.

We had 12 entrants for the 2017 event  – Thank you!

For those good folk that entered as part of our Charity Challenge, you not only got a secure race position but you helped two worthy Te Anau community groups with your entry fees.

The two recipients of the Charity Challenge funds were – Te Anau Junior Rugby and Te Anau Enduro/TACI.

Thank you all for your patience on entry day!

Entries to this years event sold out in less than 5 minutes on the morning of the 1st of July!

Congratulations to all of those that secured a spot and we look forward to seeing you on race-day.

If you have any questions about your entry, please get in touch with us here – info@keplerchallenge.co.nz

GOOD NEWS for one of our entrants.

Our hydration sponsors put up a fantastic Pure Hydration pack and the lucky winner was Deborah Blomfield of Invercargill.  You will be contacted by the Pure Hydration team soon to arrange your training pack.

These lists go up today (11th July).

We understand being on the waitlist can be tough.  There are travel and accommodation plans to consider, not to mention  keeping up the motivation for training. If you can manage these things then the waitlist can work for you.

Waitlisted runners will be invited via email to join the field in the order their entry form was received as places become available.

For more details about your chances and the answers to some frequently asked questions, visit our waitlist page

And that is about it for now.

With at least a couple of days of heavy snow forecast for the Fiordland region, we are getting ready to stay warm and watch the flakes falling before getting back into organizing you a stellar event!
