Registration - entry forms and process
The entry process
Please take a moment to read these as there have been some changes since 2009 entry.
To familiarize you with our entry process here's how it works:
- Read the information regarding conditions of entry, compulsory gear and refunds policy.
- Follow the links (which will be displayed on the left from 6.30am Sat 3rd July 2010) to the form of your chosen event.
- Fill in the relevant fields and submit the form and follow instructions.
- You will receive email to the address you have supplied confirming the status of your entry.
- Should you be successful in gaining a reserved place in the event of your choice, you will receive a reference number and request for payment. There will also be a link to a form where you are required to give a Profile and any Medical conditions.
These funds and details must reach our account by 12 midnight (New Zealand time) 13th July 2010 to secure your place. Online banking details will be supplied in this email.
A confirmation email will be sent to you once we have received all aspects of your entry.
- If you are not successful in gaining a place in the event of your choice you will be placed on that event's waitlist until it, too, is full. You will be notified via email to the address supplied. In order to confirm this place you must complete your profile and medial information within 10 days of online entry. If this information is not received your position will be given to the next in line.
Should a place become available for you, notification will be sent to the email address you have given with request for payment and a link to complete Profile and Medical conditions to secure your place. Online banking details will be supplied in this email.
- Online entries will close when the event and waitlist are full.
Registration - 2010 Events full
We are sorry to say that both the field and waitlist for both events are now full.
Please try again next year... you never know though - there may be HEAPS of injuries (although we do of course hope not!) in training and places might come up later this year!
So keep coming back and catch up on the latest news and join us in Te Anau for Race weekend. We might even find a job for you at the finish line on Saturday 4th December 2010.

Fees
This year's entry fees are:
Kepler Challenge NZ$185.00
Luxmore Grunt NZ$135.00
The Kepler Challenge Committee understands the frustration and disappointment of runners who have not gained a place at this time. Unfortunately due to sheer demand on places there are inevitably a lot of disappointed people.
Historically we have taken as many as 100 from the kepler challenge waitlist with most offered places later in the year.
Generally there is little movement until after 1 October when people assess their injuries and whether they are on track with training. Changes are are also obviously dependant on how many of those on the waitlist keep training in the meantime.
Last year by the week before the event we had got well down the waitlist as short notice does not suit all. We do appreciate the difficultly in making travel plans etc without a confirmed place. Unfortunately we can't guarantee anything but we hope this information helps you decide whether to continue with your training. The waitlist will be updated regularly.
